We are delighted to announce CHOWKI is our latest Indian experience for the city of Hull
CHOWKI is a new casual restaurant concept named after the traditional Indian dining table where friends and family sit around to eat. The menu is based around authentic Indian street food that is inspired by the bustling streets of India and a variety of popular regional dishes from different parts of India. CHOWKI celebrates Indian food and the rich cultural heritage, with the new menu bringing the most popular Indian dishes to Hull.
The interior will reflect the new casual style and has a nod to India with vibrant colours and Indian objects and artefacts.
The eclectic menu is still been finalised but has a range of regional dishes from places including ; Kerala, Allepey, at attractive price points. Starters range from £2.50 - £6.95 Main courses includes sizzler platters and kebabs, Biryani’s and a whole host of Indian curries from around the country including some classic old Delhi style dishes and firm favourites such as; Rogan Josh The perennial North Indian favourite £10.50 lamb cooked in the traditional rogan josh gravy.
Kerala Fish Curry £10.95 Grilled tilapia with the famous Kerala fish curry with fenugreek, mustard seed, curry leaves & coconut flavoured spicy sauce and Murgh Tikka Butter Masala £9.95 A Classic old Delhi style tikka masala flavoured with fenugreek and honey. The new dishes will packed with fresh flavour and herbs and spices
The men behind the helm of CHOWkKI are Tapasya@Marina founders Tapan Mahapatra and Mukesh Tirkoti. TAPASYA@Marina has been recognised as the most Remarkable Restaurant in Hull and East Yorkshire in the Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTA’S) 2019. Both have worked tirelessly to create invaluable connections with local suppliers and brewers to ensure their restaurants meet their exacting expectations.

CHOWKI will open on Thursday 23rd May and will be open Monday – Saturday 5.30pm – 10.00pm
